October was a month of ALL TIME memories. It honestly was one of the best months in a long time.
House Sit
I love house sitting especially if they have pets. I got to house/ pet sit for my next favorite doggos. They were so much fun and VERY dramatic.
Morton Arboretum
A friend and I went to Morton Arboretum for the glass pumpkin festival. OMG!!! They are so talented. This has been on my list of places to go since I moved to Illinois. I will definitely be back in the spring.
Of course, we stopped at Wally’s on our way back into town. If you haven’t been to Wally’s it’s a version of Buc-ees.
Momma In Town
My momma was in town for a week. It was so nice to have her in town. We spent a day together going to bookstores and craft stores. She helped so much watching Heisman so we could get stuff done around the house that we had been putting off.
Herbert Hoover Presidental Library and Museum
I have wanted to do this for a long time. I had to go to Iowa to get my hair extensions out so I left a little early so I can stop by here. I didn’t do the museum because it was later in the day, and they were about to close. The outside was so fun, BUT I do wish it was labeled a little bit more. I thought I was lost a few times.
Grandpa’s Airplane
But honestly, nothing holds a flame to the fact I got to fly in my grandpa’s airplane. My grandpa passed several years ago, and we sold his planes. I have been wanting to fly in his plane for so LONG but I couldn’t make the call. I finally got the nerve to call and I thought I wouldn’t cry. (But I cried) They were able to find who currently owns the plane and he said he would take me for a ride. It was the best thing ever! Even though, he has done some upgrades the plane still looks the same.
Recap
This month was really good for me. There were a few down spots, but looking back it was a pretty good month. Flying in my grandpas airplane was so much fun. I am so thankful for the opportunity. I also learned so much about myself.
