I saw this a while back, and thought it was super interesting. It’s 73 questions & answers coming at ya. I thought I did this a while back, but I must not have because I can’t find it anywhere. Its based on a Vogue magazine with celebrities. Just like online video series, I am answering the first thing that comes to mind.
What is your favorite time of day? This is a toss up because I really love sunsets while we are traveling. If we aren’t traveling or together it’s morning because it’s so peaceful. I am usually the only person up, so it’s nice to have my own time before the day begins.
What’s your biggest weakness? Overthinking. I spend a lot of time thinking about situations in the past and future. It is something that I am currently on working through.
What’s the biggest learning experience you’ve had? It’s ok to ask for help. It’s really hard for me to ask for help. I saw it as a sign of weakness for the longest time.
What’s your idea of a perfect date? This is such a tough question because I just love quality time. Also I have become much more of a homebody. I like being at home and in my own space. During the baseball season, it’s anytime we can go out for dinner and talk.
What’s one vice you wish you could give up? Drinking. I wish I would only drink to celebrate. We do drink during the week or when we are upset.
What’s a cause that is important to you? Bullying. Adults bullying or being mean to other adults is so dumb. I absolutely HATE when I see it and I ALWAYS feel obligated to speak up. Everyone always tells me not my monkeys, not my circus. While I do get it, I feel like if I had more people stick up for me when I was bullied it would have given me more confidence.
What’s the best compliment you’ve ever received? I have 2 that come to mind. The first is always about my eyes. I have extremely blue eyes. They are really noticeable when I wear blue or cry. My eye color are almost glass blue color. I love it! The other is how much I care about people. I really do generally care about the overall well being of people. I have a small circle of friends, but in general I hate when people are upset or something bad happened to them.
When are you most inspired? Lately it has been as soon as I lay in bed. As soon as I close my eyes all the ideas come to mind. Another time is when I am reading, I usually have a notebook next to me because I always have ideas.

What makes you smile the most? Traveling and exploring.
What’s one thing people don’t know about you? I am obsessed with the Royal Family. I have for as long as I can remember. Queen Elizabeth is my favorite, but I have been reading a lot more about Prince Phillip and he is becoming a favorite.
Heels or Flats or Sneakers? From this list sneakers, but I love flip flops or sandals.
Vintage or New? This depends on what it is. One of my favorite vintage things are Bibles. I love finding and collecting old Bibles. Most other things I like new because we put it together so I knew it was done right or if it falls about then we can only blame ourselves.
What are the 3 things you can’t live without? Family. Hair Straightener. My Phone
Window or Aisle Seat? I’m not picky. I am just glad to be on the plane. Most of the time it’s either Gary or I by the window.
What’s your current TV character obsession? Bursek. Kim Burgess and Adam Rusek. I am obsessed with the Chicago series. Right now my favorite order is: PD, Fire, and Med.

What’s the most adventurous things you’ve done in your life? 4 baseball games in 24 hours. We were living in West Virginia at the time. We were planning on going to the state park a few hours away, but about 30 miles before the exit we started looking at baseball games. About a mile away, and Gary said we had to make a decision. We decided to go to the baseball games.
How would you define yourself in 3 words? Determined. Loyal. Caring.
What’s your current favorite peace of clothing that you own? It’s a toss up between my Zyia Grounded Joggers or Grey Joggers. I am currently home sick and have been living in my grounded joggers.
What’s a must have clothing item everyone should own? Jean Jacket. You can dress up or keep it casual. I don’t wear mine as much as I should, but this question is making me want to grab and wear it more often.
What’s inspiring you in life right now? Adding non fiction reading.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve received? The grass isn’t always greener on the other side. It’s probably covered with manure. I still far for things ”on the other side” sometimes, but it makes me to stop to questions things.
What’s your pet peeve? People being late. If we have planned to met at 6pm, everyone should be there by 6pm. Then if you are late and don’t apologize about it. Don’t act like nothing happened.
Diamonds or Pearls? Obviously PEARLS. My engagement ring is a pearl. It’s all I wear.
What’s something you notice about someone when you first meet them? Eye Contact. It’s a huge thing to me when people don’t make eye contact when people are talking. Call me old but I think it’s really important to look at people and be present in the conversation.
What’s your biggest regret? Oh gosh! This is a tough one!!I I try to say I don’t have regrets because at that time it’s something I wanted. I do wish growing up I trusted myself more and stuck with the things that I wanted. One thing that I really regret is NOT getting my airplane license. I really do wish I took it more seriously than just going up with my grandpa.
What’s heavily played on your music list right now? Right now, I have a lot of background music playing. I work downstairs and play music just to have something on.
What’s your favorite board game? We really don’t play games. We did get Des Moinesopoly, and played that a few times. It was fun to see what was on the board.
What’s your guilty pleasure? Fountain Soda. I love them and all my friends and coworkers know this. We talk about it all the time and rate every place.
What book did you most recently finish? Non-fiction is The Wedding Date. Professional Development: The High 5 Habits.
What are you currently reading? Non-Fiction is Slightly South of Simple Professional: 10 Week Year Education: Health Magazine about Intermediate Fasting
How do you start your day? Embarrasingly, my scrolling on social media. I have been really bad about sleeping in my contacts. So I mess around on social media (usually FB and IG) until I can see more clearly then get out of bed and go to work. Right now my work schedule is early morning, but in the next few weeks I switch to later in the day. I am so excited because it will align with Gary’s schedule, and I don’t have to go bed the same time as toddler.
What’s your favorite holiday? MLB Opening Day or any football game that has a game particularly in the SEC. Ex: Egg Bowl, Largest Cocktail Party
If you could raid one women’s closet who would it be? Fictionally – Carrie Bradshaw from SITC. I am not a huge fashion person, but I can appreciate it. Real Life – Ali. She is my upline in Zyia. I just love her style and all the Zyia that she has.
If you could switch lives with one person for a day who would it be? I don’t know if I would want to switch lives with her, but be around her for a day would be Ady from Verbal Gold Blog. I would want one day watching how she balances it the business, family, etc. Then one day where we could talk, hang out, and pick her brain.
What’s one thing you’ve always wanted to try but you’ve been too scared to do? I don’t know, but I hiking by myself would be up there. I don’t want to anything like Eat Pray Love but I think an overnight trip would be fine. Actually anything true hiking or camping would be included in this topic.
What’s the one thing you wish you knew at age 19? This is super easy for me because I have actually been thinking about this lately. Having the self confidence, self worth, and self esteem in myself. Doing the things that I wanted to do like going to KU for photojournalism, live in RV and travel, get my airplane license.
Besides your phone or wallet, what’s a couple of must-have purse items? Chapstick, License, Money, Sunglasses and Hair Elastic.
If you were not a blogger or group fitness instructor, what would you be doing? Photojournalist. Doing some sort of writing. I love writing!
What’s something you can’t do? Touch my toes. I can touch them standing up then bending over, but if I am sitting on the ground I can’t touch my toes. I am not very flexible.
Where was the best vacation you’ve ever taken? New Orleans or Louisville. They both were absolutely AMAZING!! I will say our trips have gotten better in the past 5-7 years. They aren’t all about baseball or going and coming back home.
What’s one city you’ve always dreamed of traveling to? I don’t have my passport so anytime US city would be anywhere in Texas. If I had my passport, I would travel Ireland. My grandpa always wanted to go there but didn’t get the chance. I know Ireland isn’t a city.
What’s something you always travel with? My ipad/phone. Sleeping mask. Crocheting project to keep my hands busy.
Favorite Food? I love food so this is really tough for me. I would Pizza because I do eat that a lot. But if my husband is cooking he makes an amazing surf and turf with ceasar salad and loaded mashed potatoes.
Favorite Desert? Red Velvet Cake. Cheescake. Ice Cream Cake. Cupcakes. I love desert.
Favorite Snack? Anything salty. I love chips.
What’s a movie that made you cry? I’m so sensitive so everything makes me cry. I think the funniest one is A League of Their Own. At the end when everyone is getting back to together, and they sign the song. It gets me!!!
What’s your favorite movie of the last five years? I am not a big movie person. The only movie that I have seen is the Downton Abbey movies. I watched all the episodes, and loved both of the movies.
What’s the one talent you wish you had? Besides flexibility from a previous question. Another talent would be time traveling being able to not have to drive anywhere.
What’s your favorite exercise? Deadlifts are my favorite. I also love doing a butt workout.
What’s your favorite band? I don’t know because most of the stuff I listen to is just one person. Growing up I loved The Wallflowers, N-Sync, and BSB.
What’s your favorite fast food order? I haven’t had fast food recently. I do love Panera’s Bacon Turkey Bravo with no lettuce or tomato. Then extra sauce on the side.
What’s something you don’t want to be doing in 10 years? Working as much. If I am working I want it to be to my benefit. I love my full time job, but sometimes I care too much about their business. I need to focus on my business.
What’s the cutest thing on planet earth? Heisman. I love this dog!
What’s the best thing that happened this year? We purchased a house. I knew that we were going to get one here in Illinois, but how quickly it happened I didn’t expect. I love our house so much!
What’s your favorite cocktail? I prefer to drink beer, but if I order a drink it’s usually jack and coke. I order a Sazerac sometimes after having it in New Orleans.
What movie makes you laugh the hardest? I am not a movie person. I can’t really think of a movie where I laughed so hard.
What do you usually eat for dinner? Chicken and Rice during the baseball season. If it’s not baseball season, then whatever Gary cooks for us. We try to plan out our meals two weeks in advance. Each day during the week is a different type of protein, so we know the big thing we are cooking and sides are easy.
What do you usually eat for lunch? Chicken and Rice. I could eat this everyday.
What do you usually eat for breakfast? It’s a omelette in a bowl. They have everything in the bowl including the egg. All that you have to do is mix and microwave. There are so many different types like meat lovers, turkey sausage, and something else. I don’t really want to research because it will distract me.
What’s your favorite thing in the world? My favorite materialist thing in my engagement ring. I absolutely love it. He did an amazing job picking it out. Other favorite things would be experiences with my family. Being in the moment and not focusing on anything. Having pure contentment in life.
What’s your favorite color? I have 2 – Pink and Blue. I love Barbie Pink
What color do you wear most? Black
What are 3 words to describe living in the Midwest? (I changed this question because it says SF Bay Area. I’m also not sure if it was an insert where you live but that that’s what I did.) Proximity. Thunderstorms. Greatness. Minus the cold weather, winters, and snow I am loving where we are living.
Do you like surprises? It depends on that type of surprise because I don’t like being scared. If it’s like something I mentioned then it happened or I was expecting something good and it happened than YES!!
Who do you turn to when you’re sad? Gary or Heisman. Heisman knows when we are upset or sick.
What’s a trend you would like to see disappear forever? The thing that came to mind is fake eyelashes. Sometimes people just go so big and it’s all I can look at. I don’t want to be stare but people go crazy. Most trends I really don’t mind because I love seeing people dress. I couldn’t do it but I love that others have the confidence, and they look amazing.
What did you want to do with your life at age 12? Photographer. I wanted to travel the world living out of a Land Rover.
